Terry Walsh Gottlieb, RN-Gero, NEA-BC

Terry Walsh Gottlieb is a practicing RN with more than 25 years of
nursing practice experience. She has been a Legal Nurse Consultant
for more than 10 years.
Terry is Board Certified by the
American Nurses Credentialing Center
as a Nurse Executive, Advanced (NEA-BC) and in Gerontological
Nursing (RN-Gero). She has been a member of the legal teams of
plaintiffs and defendents in the New England and Mid Atlantic areas.
Terry has extensive
knowledge and
experience in Acute Med/Surg
Nursing, Long Term Care, Geriatrics, Rehabilitation, Home Care,
Administration, Management, and Education.
She remains active as a Staff Development Coordinator in a
large NYC area medical center; teaches Nursing Leadership and
Management in the graduate nursing division of a local college; and
has designed and presented seminars on Patient Care Documentation
for Nurses. Terry has
chaired the Nursing Practice Committee for more than 5 years and has
chaired the Nursing Research & Evidence Based Practice Committee.
Her experience and knowledge of the Standards of Care quickly
and accurately enable her to identify issues of non-compliance.
Terry has testified at trials as a nursing
expert regarding nursing practice issues; as a witness of fact for
the medical record; and for the defense before a State Board of
Nursing. She provides litigation related research and literature
reviews.
